MY Airtel 1.5GB Night Data Plan Subscription Failed But Airtel Deducted My N50 Credit, Come In For Help

We have noticed that ever since Airtel introduced the http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/07/how-to-subscribe-to-airtel-15gb-for-n50.html" target="_blank">N50 for 1.5GB night data plan, it has been marred with lots of issues and many airtel subscribers have often complained that whenever they tried to subscribe to the night data plan, that airtel will deduct their N50 credit without subscribing them into the plan.

And the worst of it is that thereafter, any attempt to get airtel to refund their deducted credit, it has always proved abortive as Airtel customer assistants will only promise them that the matter would be looked into but at the end their credits are never refunded.

It is quite disheartening that such misdemeanours still happens in our telecom industries from those GSM network operators and the regulatory bodies in charge to checkmate such occurrences are not doing enough thus the network operators  continue getting away with such petty crimes.
solution-to-artel-N50-for-1.5GB-ngiht-data-plan-issues

I know because I was sometimes a victim to this particular illegal deduction without being allotted any night data bundle we intended to subscribe; and at the end, we were never refunded even after we laid series of complaints.

While it is only but few Airtel subscribers that are using the airtel N50 for 1.5GB night plan without issues, a handful of others have experience such deductions without any refund and data allocation, even when they are actually on Airtel SmartTrybe that is supposedly the right tariff plan for the 1.5GB night data plan.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/how-to-change-etisalat-data-transfer.html" target="_blank">Know your Etislata data transfer PIN code and how to change it

Well, without wasting time, since we have gotten some sort of way out on how to properly subscribe to the Airtel N50 for 1.5GB that will prevent the illegal deduction but will get you subscribed into the plan, we are going to be dropping that right away.

Now, if you are already on Airtel SmartTribe tariff plan and you still encounter such problem that anytime you want to subscribe for the Airtel N50 for N1.5GB night data plan, your airtime is often deducted without any data allotted to you, here is what you be doing from now on anytime that you want to subscribe for the plan;

Regardless that you are already in Airtel SmartTrybe tariff plan, any new night that you want subscribe for the data plan, you should make sure that you migrate to SmartTrybe again by dialling the migration code before subscribing.

I.e. often dial *312# and reply with 1 each night when you want to subscribe for the Airtel N50 for 1.5GB night plan.

By so doing, your N50 airtime will be deducted and 1.5GB will be allotted to your line.

Yes, you will not be charged for each same Airtel SmartTrybe to SmartTrybe migration.

And finally after exhausting your data that same night and you want to subscribe again during that night, you no longer need to migrate to Airtel SmartTrybe again; you only migrate once every night before initial subscription.

Is Airtel Drunk By Introducing 9GB For N4000 Data Plan And Calling It King Of All Bundles?

It might surprise you on why we are asking that question on whether Airtel is drunk by introducing 9GB for N4000 data plan and calling it king of all bundles.

After we must have finished analysing the new data plan by airtel, at the end of the day you might also join us in asking airtel if they are drunk by calling that data plan the king of all bundles.

Yes Airtel has just introduced N4000 for 9GB monthly data plan and still in bewilderment we are still wondering why airtel felt that they have brought the king of all bundles to subscribers where their competitor like Glo is offering 10GB for N2,500 and did not even dare to call it anything like that.
Airtel-9GB-for-N4000-montly-data

So what did Airtel wants Glo to call their 10GB for N2,500 monthly data plan? Maybe Mayor of all bundles or Lord of all bundles if we may suggest.

Now here are even the major reasons why we are taunting Airtel for calling their new 9GB for N4000 data plan the king of all bundles;

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/surprising-see-network-that-now-has.html" target="_blank">surprising! See the network that now has the best data deduction rate – no zapping

Aside that the new airtel data plan is meant for eligible SIMs, airtel also recently launched http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/get-airtel-6gb-for-n1500-in-latest.html" target="_blank">6GB for N1,500 data plan, which is also meant for eligible SIMs.

Now tell us, which sane minded person will decide to opt for Airtel so-called king of all bundles data plan of 9GB for N4000 against the 6GB for N1500 data plan, after considering that when he/she even decide to go for the 6GB plan twice, that it will amount to 12GB for N3000?

Have you now seen why we initially asked the question above on whether airtel is drunk by calling this their new data plan the king of data bundles?

Well for those that might still be interested in the new airtel 9GB for N4000 monthly plan, you can opt in by dialling the subscription code *438*1#

Surprising! See The Network That Now Has The Best Internet Data Deduction Rate – No Zapping

Now these 4 network providers, MTN, Airtel, Glo and Etisalat will not stop surprising us, as today a particular network will be the fastest for browsing and downloading, tomorrow it will shift hand to other networks.

In similar way the data zapping is; today you will notice that a particular network zaps data; the next day another network will take over.

Now when we say the network that now has the best data deduction rate and does not zap, we don’t mean that the network is the fastest for browsing and downloading, but only that the data burn rate is normal.

I bet it will shock you when you hear of the network that doesn’t zap data currently.
Now before we go ahead to mention it, you might want to know how we get to discover that the said network does not zap data, and we will be glad to tell you that.
the-network-that-currently-does-not-zap-internet-data

Firstly is through the personal experiment recently carried out by subscribing to data plans on the entire networks and using them turn by turn on android device.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/why-are-you-not-sharing-glo-cheap-and.html" target="_blank">Why are you not sharing the Glo heavy duty data plans to even get them cheaper

Secondly is that when a particular or set of networks zap data, you will surely hear or see people lamenting over them, but when the data deduction is normal on a network, you will hardly hear anybody complaining about it.

Now straight to business, for Etisalat, we cannot vouch for Etisalat network currently on whether it zaps data or not, some will say it zaps, while some will say it does not.

But our personal experience on our recent experiment shows that the data burn rate is quite high, and thus we cannot categorically say that Etisalat does not zap data.

Coming down to Airtel, Airtel has always been the culprit when it comes to data zapping, I don’t think anybody can do anything about them when it comes to data zapping.

Maybe Airtel has vowed that they will continue to zap subscribers’ data to eternity, though we did the http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/get-airtel-6gb-for-n1500-in-latest.html" target="_blank">Airtel new 6GB for N1,500 data plan and noticed that the zapping is quite reduced and does not zap like hell like the former 3GB for N1,500 data plan.

But you might want to say that zapping is zapping regardless of the zapping rate and hence Airtel is not yet free from data zapping, though lately their internet browsing speed truly improved significantly.

Recommended: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/see-mobile-brower-that-consumes-most.html" target="_blank">See the mobile browser that consumes most amounts of internet data

For MTN, initially everybody can attest that MTN does not zap data and that they have the best data burn rate, but currently the tide is seriously going against them as MTN now zaps data wickedly, periodically and mercilessly.

On our recent experiment with the MTN network with regards to data zapping, we understand that MTN now zaps data with style; for example, they zaps the data periodically from time to time and not necessarily all the time you are using it to browse; maybe today
MTN will zap and tomorrow they will not zap and it goes on like that.

And again if you go around recently, you will easily hear people now complaining more about MTN network on the way it zaps data, which is a clear indication that MTN now truly zaps data.

Then finally and surprisingly, the network that does not zap data at all currently is Glo network; Glo data deduction rate is now perfect and apart from poor network in many areas, you will hardly hear people complaining about Glo data zapping.

And truth be told here, the Glo network in terms of browsing speed has improved greatly down here unlike a month ago when it was a nightmare using Glo network to access the network.

You can use the comment box below to have your say if you of any contrary opinion or additions.

MTN Xtrabyte: You Can Now Borrow Data On MTN Network And Pay Later

MTN has launched the MTN Xtrabyte a new service that allows MTN subscribers to borrow data and pay back later.

Have you ever been in a situation where you are downloading or streaming videos online and you ran out of data to complete what you were doing?

Then with the MTN latest Xtrabyte, you no longer need to worry at that moment as you can now borrow data even when your credit balance is empty to complete your download or video streaming.

As MTN Xtratime is for borrowing of airtime, the new MTN Xtrabyte service is for borrowing of data.

MTN-Xtrabyte-allows-MTN-subscribers-to-borrow-data-and-pay-later
Yes you can also use your borrowed MTN Xtratime to subscribe for additional data, but the advantage of MTN Xtrabyte over the MTN Xtratime when it comes to data services is that the MTN Xtrabyte allows you a faster opportunity to borrow data directly instead of borrowing airtime first from Xtratime and then subscribing for additional data.

With MTN Xtrabyte MTN is ensuring that subscribers carry out seamless data services with little or no interruptions.

Must Read:  http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/why-are-you-not-sharing-glo-cheap-and.html" target="_blank">Why are you not sharing your heavy duty Glo data to even get it cheaper?

Data allocation on MTN Xtrabyte are repaid to MTN with an interest of 10% as can be seen from the image below showing the Xtrabyte bundles, prices and validity periods.

Note that for MTN subscribers to qualify for MTN Xtrabyte data, they must have least met the following conditions;

·     They must have registered their SIMs

·     They must have been active on the network for at least 3 months

·     And subscribers main account balance must be between N0 and N12

Now to borrow data on your MTN line as a prepaid subscriber all you need to do is to check the amount of data that you are allowed to borrow at any particular instant by dialling the code *606# and replying with 1.

The finally you can borrow the amount of data that you are qualified for by dialling *606# and then replying with 2.

Note that any airtime that you recharge thereafter will be deducted to the tune of your borrowed data amount.

Etisalat 1GB For N200 Night Data Plan

Etisalat has joined the rest of other networks to unleash their own cheap night data plan of 1GB for N200.

Though considering the price and the amount of data that other networks offer for their night data plans, we initially don’t want to call this particular Etisalat night plan cheap, but maybe to Etisalat 1GB for N200 is cheap and hence we also joined them to call it cheap.

Etisalat has been known to be the network provider with the costliest data subscription plans, and they have gone ahead to show that again in this their latest night data plan offer.
Etisalat-1GB-for-N200-night-data-plan

While other networks are offering even more data for lesser amount night data bundle plans, Etisalat says that theirs is 1GB for N200.

And the funniest is that while subscribers on other networks have been enjoying cheap night data plans long before now, Etisalat is just waking up from slumber with theirs.

Remember MTN has http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/06/my-mtn-night-data-plan-of-n25-for-500mb.html" target="_blank">N25 for 500MB night data plan, Airtel recently launched http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/07/how-to-subscribe-to-airtel-15gb-for-n50.html" target="_blank">N50 for 1.5GB night data plan.

Although that of Glo night data plan is also 1GB for N200, but we can pardon Glo on that for offering the most affordable 24/7 data plans.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/07/etisalat-could-eventually-turn-out-most.html" target="_blank">Etisalat could eventually turn out to become the worst browsing network, see why

Well, if you are interested in the Etisalat new data plan on the bases that you see it as the fastest browsing network in your current location, you can subscribe to the Etisalat 1GB for N200 night data plan by recharging with N200 and by  dialling the subscription code *229*3*11#

It is a one day data plan valid from from 12midnight to 5AM same day.

On your own do you think that Etisalat did real justice by disguising to be in competition with this their newly launched night data plan? And why is it that Etislat always come last in these types of offers?

Does Airtel Special Privilege Data Plan Of 6GB For N1,500 Zaps Data?

Recently, airtel launched the http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/get-airtel-6gb-for-n1500-in-latest.html" target="_blank">special privilege data plan that offers 6GB for N1,500 monthly data.

And as we mentioned earlier, the new Airtel special privilege data plan is actually the blackberry unlimited data plan of 3GB that was doubled to 6GB and that works on all devices without any special settings.

But we believe that since the blackberry unlimited data plan was formerly and highly notorious for data zapping when used on non-blackberry devices, many of you out there will also want to know whether airtel is still using their malfunctioned data consumption calculator to calculate this new offer; i.e. on whether the special privilege data offer zaps data?
find-out-whether-the-new-airtel-6GB-ror-N1500-zaps-data
Well we will like to start by giving you some cheering news concerning data zapping on the newly introduced Airtel special privilege data offer of 6GB for N1,500 by assuring you that we are currently using the new data plan on our android device, and we have not noticed any form of data zapping of any form as the data deduction appears very normal.

However, there appears a little twist of fate on this new airtel special privilege data offer as we noticed that just as usual with Airtel, the plan is SIM selective.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/why-are-you-not-sharing-glo-cheap-and.html" target="_blank">Why are you not sharing the Glo heavy duty data to even get them cheaper?

Therefore, in order to avoid stories that touch, it is important for you to test out your SIM eligibility status with N0.0 first before going ahead with the subscription.

To do so, simply use your Airtel SIM without airtime to dial the subscription code, which is *440*161# and if you get insufficient credit reply, then you should know that your SIM is eligible and you can then go ahead to subscribe.

Remember you can check your data balance at any time by dialling *123*9#

Let the data price keep on dropping until the day you all can subscribe for 10GB for N1,000.

Why Are You Not Sharing Glo Cheap And Heavy Duty Data To Even Get It Cheaper?

We all know that when it comes to data dishing, Glo amongst the other networks appears to be more generous.

Now taking a careful look at the current Glo monthly data plans as given below

N1,000 for 2GB

N2,000 for 6GB

N2,500 for 10GB

N3,000 for 12GB

N4,000 for 18GB

N5,000 for 24GB

N8,000 for 48GB

N15,000 for 60GB

N18,000 for 90GB

With the Glo data share service, at least to or 3 Glo subscribers can decide to pull resources together and even get this data cheaper per head.
share-Glo-data-and-even-get-it-cheaper

For example if Mr A has N1,000 and needs about 3 to 4GB data, which ordinarily no network in the country presently has been generous enough to offer 4GB for N1,000 monthly data; now, what Mr A should do is to look for his friends, maybe 2 of them that also have N1,000 and are will to buy monthly data.

Mr A should now introduce the idea to his 2 of pulling resources together to go for Glo N3,000 for 12GB monthly, where each of them will contribute their N1,000 each.

After Mr A has collected the fund and subscribed for the data, he can now add the 2 of his friends’ number to partake in sharing and using the 12GB.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/07/airtel-reduces-validity-period-for-n200.html" target="_blank">Airtel reduces validity period of its 2G network data plans

Yes the data cannot be gifted as all of them will only have the opportunity to use the data normally from the 12GB bulk as if they subscribed individually, irrespective of their locations and on Whether Mr A phone is off.

Since the 3 parties are all good friends, they will most likely not be shellfish on using the data, and will almost use it equally to the duration of the data’s validity period.

Similar sharing formula can be done on any of those monthly data given above; and you can just decide to share with only a 2nd party and both of you will bear the cost.

Don’t you think by so doing, you will end up paying less and getting more data especially in this period of serious economic meltdown?

To add Glo number for data sharing is very easy, all you need to is to dial *127*01*GloNumber#

You can repeat the process to add another number.

To remove a number dial *127*02*GloNumberToRemove# and that is all.

By adopting this sharing formula, we believe that you can always enjoy cheaper Glo data with friends and families.

MTN Commences Test Run Of 4G LTE Service

Few months back, MTN hinted on 4G LTE services provision to its numerous customers, and it seems the time is almost here as the largest GSM providers in the country, MTN through its latest acquired subsidiary company Visafone has started to test-run the 4G LTE service.

This is in a bid as promised to align itself to the modern 4th generation internet service and to help deliver high speed broadband internet access to its teeming subscribers in major cities across the country.
MTN-commences-test-run-of-4G-LTE-service

However, the current on-going test-run will only be available to Visafone subscribers on the 800MHz band and MTN hope to fully launch the 4G LTE service on their 2.6GHz spectrum after anticipating successful testing at this pilot stage.

For many, they consider it as long overdue move and definitely a step in the right direction as they awaits transformation from aging 3G internet service to high-speed 4G LTE broadband penetration.

Get Airtel 6GB For N1,500 In The Latest Airtel Special Privilege Offer

I have a dream that one day these network providers will start offering you 10GB for N1000, and it is just a matter of time.

Just as you guys are still enjoying Glo 6GB for N2000 and 10GB for N2,500 respectively, Airtel has unleashed another juicy data offer that they tag Special Privilege, which offer Airtel subscribers 6GB for N1,500 for the month.

Actually this is the former blackberry unlimited data plan that previously gives Airtel subscribers 3GB for N1,500 and that can be used on any device without any special settings.

But Airtel in the latest Special Privilege offer has decided to double the data now to make it 6GB still for N1,500 valid for 30days.

We believe that you are already getting excited on how these data are getting cheaper by the day and we also believe that one day our dream above will become reality.

Must Read: http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/08/how-to-get-double-data-or-100-data.html" target="_blank">How to get 100% data bonus on all your MTN data subscriptions

If you are interested in this latest Airtel Special Privilege, to subscribe for the data plan, simply recharge your airtel line with N1,500 and dial the code *440*161#

To check for your remaining data balance at any time, simply dial *123*10#

And again you don't need to be on any special airtel tariff plan be you will qualify for this as all plans are eligible.

But one thing we cannot vouch for at this juncture with this latest Airtel offer is on whether it zaps data or not on other devices, because the previous 3GB for N1,500 Airtel blackberry data plan has been notorious for data zapping.

We just hope and believe that airtel has resolved the data zapping issue with this latest plan.

Some of you might have also gotten the message on this Special Privilege offer that Airtel is circulating to advertise this plan.
