Installing Cyanogenmod 12.1 On Samsung Galaxy J5

Cyanogenmod 12.1 (Lollipop) unofficial build has been made available to all variants of the Samsung Galaxy J5 smartphone.

This ROM is entirely 'bugless'. The only issue is that there's no audio when radio is turned on. I do not consider that a bug anyway, I don't know about you :)

How to flash Cyanogenmod 12.1 on Samsung Galaxy J5

1. Your device is already supposed to be running stock 5.1.1.
2. Download the ROM from the link above (select the exact rom for your variant).
3. Download 5.1.1 ARM GAPPS.
4. Copy the downloaded ROM package to the root of your SD card.
5. Reboot to recovery mode. ( Vol UP + Home + Power ). TWRP is required, download from here
6. Full wipe /system, /internalsd, /data, and /cache.
7. Install ROM zip package and GApps.zip.
8. Reboot to system.
9. Done

NOTE: Root access is disabled by default, enable it from Settings > Developer settings > Root access.

• Huawei Watch Marshmallow Rom - Download

Flashing Rom

• Push rom to /sdcard/

adb push Huawei-Rom-NX-v1.1.zip /sdcard/Huawei-Rom-NX-v1.1.zip

• Reboot Watch to recovery mode (learn http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /2016/06/how-to-install-twrp-302-recovery-on.html" target="_blank">how to install TWRP)
• Make a backup of your /data partition. It will be erased when rom is flashed.
• Flash rom in TWRP and reboot to system
• Done.

If your Watch's battery drains faster than usual, run this command via ADB

adb shell setprop ro.hwc.is_delta_panel false

Tecno L5 Custom Lollipop Rom Download and Flashing Guide

Well well! Now you can flash customized lollipop rom on your beloved Tecno L5. For a long while now, users of Tecno L5 have sought a custom rom for their device so as to get rid of the phone's stock firmware and all its bloatware: here it is!

This lollipop http://pinkberrylicious.blogspot.com /p/customroms.html" target="_blank">custom rom is super-duper-extra-crazy-fast. I've personally tested this rom on my brother's device and so far everything works 'smoothingly smooth' and it's pretty much stable.

To flash this custom rom, TWRP is required. Luckily for L5 users, Team Hovatek has already ported TWRP to Tecno L5. Thanks to them.

How to flash lollipop custom rom on Tecno L5
Requirements:

1. TWRP recovery by Hovatek - Download
2. Tecno L5 Lollipo Rom - Download

Flashing custom lollipop rom on Tecno L5

• Download TWRP from above, then use the guide here (sp flashtool required) to flash it on your device. If you already have TWRP installed, proceed to step two.
• Download Tecno L5 lollipop rom and copy to the root of your phone's storage. That is, /sdcard.
• Reboot to recovery mode
• Wipe / erase data and cache
• Go back and select Install
• Navigate to the root of your sdcard and select the downloaded rom
• Swipe to flash, then wait for the process to complete.
• Once complete, reboot the device to system.
• Done.
