  1. Launch MTK Droid Tools
  2. Enable USB debugging on your phone then connect to Computer
  3. Once Droid Tools has completed loading your phone's details, click Blocks Map
  4. Then click Create Scatter file

How To Get Mount Points Of Any MTK Device in seconds

When manually porting a custom recovery or rom you need to identify the mount points of the device you're porting to in other to port correctly and succeed in making a functional custom recovery.

The mount points tell the recovery / boot how a phone's partition is structured so it can directly flash files and packages to the right partition when flashed over a custom recovery or when booting a boot image.

Getting any MTK phone's mount points
  • Launch MTK DroidTools
  • Enable USB debugging mode on your phone and connect it a computer
  • Once the once the phone is detected by DroidTools, click on Blocks Map and all the attached device mount points will be displayed in a new window.
  • Done
